The Science
Ever wondered what you look like to a shark?
We did too. So we built a virtual shark eye to find out, and what we saw was striking. From below, you on your board looks almost identical to a seal.
That one insight changed everything. We developed specific lighting patterns designed to change how your silhouette appears beneath the surface, then tested them on white sharks in the wild. The results were remarkable.
The science is published in leading journals. But the videos are way more fun.

Surfer and marine scientist. Laura has spent over 10 years studying how sharks experience the world, and thinks they're pretty amazing once you get to know them. Fluent in both peer-reviewed science and post-surf stoke, she keeps the whole crew on the same page.
